In stark contrast with former President Donald Trump, who spent few minutes of his strenuous schedule grieving with Laken Riley’s family, Joe Biden, in an interview with MSNBC, expressed regret for using the term “illegal” to describe Ibarra.

“I shouldn’t have used ‘illegal.’ It’s ‘undocumented,’” Biden said. “… I’m not going to treat any, any, any of these people with disrespect. Look, they built the country. The reason our economy is growing. We have to control the border and more orderly flow, but I don’t share his [Trump’s] view at all.
Before this blunder, the president misspoke her name and called her “Lincoln” Riley while attempting to downplay her murder.
“But how many of thousands of people are being killed by legals?” Biden said.
Laken was in good shape days before her murder.
On the morning of February 22, the Georgia nursing student jogged around the University of Georgia campus in Athens, Georgia.
Her roommate was alarmed when she did not return after a few hours.
After searching the area, police authorities found her lifeless body in a wooded area inside the campus.
The next day, Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant was arrested for kidnapping and murdering Riley.

House Speaker Mike Johnson swiped Biden for apologizing to Laken’s murderer instead of her family.
“The president is cowering to his base and showing deference to a man who deserves none. This man is an illegal immigrant who brutally murdered Laken Riley. President Biden should be apologizing to Laken’s family. What an embarrassment,” slammed Johnson.

“Look, they built the country.”
“This is so brazenly incorrect it’s difficult to put into words. NO. Illegals did not build America. Settlers did. Legal immigrants, hopefully, assimilate and contribute.”

Fox News’ Bill Melugin, with an apparent disgust, remarked “Expressing regret for accurately describing the Venezuelan illegal alien charged with bashing in Laken Riley’s skull as an “illegal” is a remarkable moment.”

The one and only time Biden mentions her name – he botches it – and now he hopes to avoid offending her alleged killer.

“Shame on Joe Biden. We’re going to fire him and re-elect Trump in November. And no, I won’t apologize for that,” wrote Lauren Boebert on X.
Yesterday, Joe Biden apologized.
Not for his out of control spending that has ruined our economy.
Not for his attack on domestic energy production.
Not for the invasion at our southern border.
Not for the death of Laken Riley.
No, he apologized because he called Laken’s…
